A Review study on the impact of play-way method on language and literacy development.

Abstract

For holistic development of a child play-way method is one of the most effective and widely used teaching learning methods that uses hands-on experiences, games and activities as an alternate to traditional methods. This paper intends to review the studies conducted on the impact of play-way method on language and literacy development. This paper tends to study how play-way methods helps a child to learn effectively, by analyzing different studies conducted on the impact of play-way methods. It mainly focus on how play-way methods assist children to improve vocabulary, listening skills, reading and communication. The findings of several studies indicates that play-way method help children learn language quicker as it creates a stress-free, fun and engaging learning environment.
